Our XPS-6M Weather Station is designed for growers who need to monitor inversion layers, frost events and standard weather conditions such as rainfall, temperature, humidity and wind.
The 6-metre wind measurement provides more representative readings, with less influence from nearby ground-level obstructions.
The unit is supplied as a complete 6-metre station, ready for installation. Temperature and humidity are measured at ground level, 3 metres and 6 metres. Wind speed and wind direction are measured at 6 metres, with rainfall measured at 1 metre above ground level.
Calculated values such as Delta T and fire index are provided through the Origo.ag platform.
Optional sensors can be added, including soil moisture probes, leaf wetness and other supported sensors. Soil moisture probes can be installed up to 50 metres from the station.
The station can operate standalone on the mobile IoT network or as part of an Origo.ag DigiMesh network.
The annual service agreement includes the Origo.ag XDASH Dashboard, API access, software, data storage, device support and network operation.
